Internship

MCMI offers internship opportunities for College Students and others seeking to gain experience working in the music industry, photo and video journalism.

We will grant internships to the best applicants, which will provide both mentoring and experience in the field. Students may apply for credit from their schools, where applicable. Don’t sleep on this tremendous opportunity!

These internships run all year round and coincide with school semesters. Interns will be asked to put in 5 and 10 hours / week. We take applications year round, but your Internship can startaround dates that are convenient for your current school semester.

Interns will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the following:

Internet Marketing and Promotion- Forums, Blogs, Social Networking, Email, etc.

Radio/Record/Video Promotion- College, Commercial, Internet and Sirius/XM, BET, MTV, VH1, etc.

Recording / Editing (audio and video) Cubase, ProTools, iMovie, Final Cut, ADOBE CS3+, camera work, lighting, assisting sessions in recording studio, editing video footage.

WordPress, blogging, writing, posting events, etc.

Interns will gain experience, training and valuable contacts within the music industry.
