Smif-n-Wessun perform a montage of their classic material at the Prospect Park bandshell show thrown by the
Lyricist Lounge team on July 9th 2011 as part of the Celebrate Brooklyn series. The Bootcamp veterans put it down for the Duck Down family. Tek came onstage with what seemed like his daughter in a baby carriage, then picked her up and rhymed with her in his arms. Â According to DuckDown.com the label’s official site, that was actually Sean P’s daughter – “Shaun P” – and later Buckshot hit the stage for a verse with his own daughter in his arms as well. The duo were joined onstage by Sean Price and Rock of Heltah Skeltah and performed both classic material and new stuff off their new album, Monumental, produced in it’s entirety by legendary triple threat, beatsmith, MC and DJ, Pete Rock.
