I have to admit, I love a good fight record. Sean Price and Diabolic I know personally and they have been in their share of knockdown brawls over the years. I don’t know Vinnie Paz,  but his voice is very convincing, lol. Throw this between Ante Up and The WWKYA Tour (ft. Extended Famm) on your iPod and play it next time you are at the gym in front of a heavy bag.

This is a track off of Diabolics new LP FIGHTIN’ WORDS, on his own label, Warhorse Records. The album features guest such as R.A. The Rugged Man, Apathy, Celph Titled, Locksmith, Nino Bless and more, besides Sean Price and Vinnie Paz. Production from DJ Premier, The Snowgoons, Brooklyn’s 5th Seal and others make this an all around solid project.

Diabolic explains how his process has evolved since his last album:

The difference between Liar & a Thief and Fightin Words is that on L&T, I felt like I forced a lot of it. I was trying to do what I felt like people wanted to hear and put myself into a box. I had a lot more fun with Fightin Words. I did the music organically, just taking tracks that I liked, rocking to them and letting the record take on it’s own life. I truly feel it’s some of my best work, and reflects more of my personality than previous releases.
