I don’t know if you consider Detroit’s Slum Village to be the same group as the original. I hear a lot of grumbling about it nowadays, but this track off the upcoming “Dirty Slums 2″, is dope regardless of personnel changes. The CD, featuring Illa J, T3 and Young RJ (who also produced the joint) is set to drop January 29th and hosted by Mick Boogie. I have always been an avid SV fan and I still am. What’s to debate if the music is (still) dope?
